Sheartak spiral cutterhead leaves a superior surface finish over straight-edge cutterheads. The round-edged inserts are angled for a shear-cut that leaves a glassy smooth cut even on highly figured woods or very soft wood. Each insert has four cutting edges and can be rotated up to 3 times to reveal a fresh sharp edge. No more sharpening and resetting when an insert gets dull or nicked.
