Lurem

Lurem was a French manufacturer of woodworking machines, known for their good build quality, catering to serious hobbyists and professionals. In the late 1990s or early 2000s, the company was taken over by Metabo, a German power tool manufacturer, and began producing machines designed by Metabo in Lurem's French factory. Subsequently, Lurem was sold to a Belgian company and also produced machines under a different brand name for a period. 

Despite these transitions, Lurem eventually faced financial difficulties and ceased operations. As a result, their machines are no longer in production. However, used Lurem machines are still available on the market, and some suppliers offer parts and support for existing equipment.
